hi i just had an idea of making the trickle filter which comes with my tank that sits on the top of the tank into a refugium im not quite sure if this would work but i was thinking of hanging my t5's from my roof so its dangling over the tank and the fuge for lighting. ill be putting live rock rubble and some macro in ther since i got about 10kg of base rock not in use i was thinking of cuttin up some pieces and use it. i am not certain im gona go ahead though. does anyone know anything i might be missing and is it possible to have too much light since the t5's would only be around 2inches away anyones heres some pics so you know what im talking about. i wonder if this has been done before.

thanks for lookin

oops forgot the pics here they are:

it is 10.5 inch long and 2.5 inch high 2 inch wide so its tiny. im not sure how efficient it will be but worth a go!

also ill probably be starting this tomorow since i have a free day and the filter media needs to be cleaned/changed and also should i have a level of wool to get rid of the floating particles when i set up the fuge?

thanks
