My 4" NTT was stable with good color in my 75. Now that I've moved him to a 125 though he's gone dark as can be and skittish. It's been almost 2 weeks now and he doesn't seem to be snapping out of it. Any suggestions?

Just give him time, if the water conditions are the same and he is still feeding then he will become stable again. When I moved my Indo's they lost colour for a while, once they were comfortable with the new tank surroundings they became stable again.

I agree - NTT are the most timid of the dat species to begin with, so it may take them more time to get use to their surroundings.

It may also have to do with new tankmates as well. My indo was very stable when he only shared the tank with on widebar, but now that there are two smaller widebars in there he has completely lost all stability.

Tankmates are the same save for one new bichir. Just a bigger tank. He's eating so I don't worry too much. Do NTTs do better with other dats?

All dats will nip and chase others of the same species a bit (when they are aound the same size). NTT are the most timid so they are the least likely to do any major damage, and are the most likely to get along. If you are doing a Dat Com. it is better to have atleast 4-5 so any aggression is spread out.
