I've been restocking some of my tanks and tried adding a pair of angels to my 120g aquarium. They were about the size of a half dollar. Tankmates included 5 clown loaches, 5 baby geo. abalios, 1 lima and 1 baby motoro. They seemed to settle in fine and were eating within a few hours of introduction. However, one of them died two days later and the other one after about a week. No signs of damage from any of their tankmates.
I'm not really sure why they died. Water quality is top notch for the ray so I don't think that's the cause. They were having a little trouble competing for food with the geos but looked like they were getting enough.
I loved the way they looked in the tank and would like to get some more but I want to figure out what went wrong first. Any ideas?
