I have a breeding pair of gold severums They laid eggs once, but ate them. They have locked lips approximately one week ago. But now the male seems to chase the female. I have heard that lowering the temperature a few degrees. Then slowly raising the temperature helps. Please clarify if this is true, or if anyone knows how to trigger the breeding process.

I'm pretty sure I read doing a water change and using slightly cooler water to mimic the rainy season works, that or do a water change after a thunderstorm
