Trimac Cichlid, Amphilophus Trimaculatus

Here are some pics of my new 100% Trimac that I picked up off of one of our members (Rob at Keystone Aquatics) The 2 females I have for him to choose are a bit shy so I'll try for some pics later on.

Looks great, but I thought trimacs had 3 spots. Thus, the "tri" in their name.

The number of spots can be pretty variable.

Like HerCrenVie stated, # of spots is not very realiable to judge a Trimac. Mine has six.
