Discover this awesome Trimac Cichlid. This is not a flowerhorn. This is a Pyro Trimac. A beautiful Trimac is often called a low grade flowerhorn Cichlid, but she is Pure Beauty. This is a fish found in the wild and is of the amphilophus family. Trimaculatus is one of the most colorful of the amphilophus family. Pure Trimac Cichlid! Enjoy

It's a female Amphilophus Trimaculatus. I don't think I'd be going too far out on a limb saying 99% of the people who regular this section know what a Trimac is. Is a "Pyro" Trimac a line breed aquarium strain? What exactly is the signifacance of the "Pyro"? Is it wild cought from a specific collection point? Or are you just trying to point out that colorful Trimacs are not always low grade flowerhorns? Your comments prompted more questions than answers.

Saying "pyro" trimacs are found in the wild is like saying fancy discus are found in the wild. Or long-fin oscars are found in the wild.

You saying the Rio Pigeon Blood isn't where Pigeon Blood Discus come from? Why not just tell me Sant isn't real too while you're at it.

Very beautiful fish!
