Trimac cichlid vs red devil and midas

I have a line on a 7 inch wild caught trimac. Just wondering how they generally compare to red devils and midas? Aggression, personality wise, and how well they interact with people. It would be in a tank by itself, looking for a wet pet.

If it's male there isn't a much better fish as a wet pet, very similar personality as midas, maybe a bit more food orientated,

Same and may be more interactive than some Red devils and Midas. But trimac is a sure shot if you want personality like the Ampholophus. Always wanting to eat and out to see you.

the male i had a few years ago was a great wet pet.not crazy banging the glass,but he let you know HE owned the tank

I bought him. Pick him up Friday! Can't wait to get him home.
