Trimacs have been my favorite Cichlid for decades and in my opinion are highly under appreciated. That said, they demand / command so much space I understand why few people actually keep them.

Your male is a thick healthy beast mate! Love the contrast of the red eye against the olive green body.

Many many fry! I have a 125G full of growouts from them maybe 2 months and they are currently guarding a pot full of newly hatched fry soon to be free swimming. They breed constantly and have been since we got them. They have blessed us and continue too with Lot's of fry. We have had them spawn with free swimming fry still in with them. They are a true bonded for life pair of F1 Rio Naranja Trimac.
