This scrape is bigger than the last. Clean water and is there anything else i should do to help him out. Not sure if meds or just mother nature running its course is best. Not a huge fan of adding things to the water. Thanks20180726_070949.jpg

Nothing else is needed besides clean water. It will take a few weeks for the area to get back the color, and it will have a nice scar there.

Raise the temperature and add a little salt. It'll help make sure it doesn't get any infection

I will try whatever ever u guys think this is my favorite fish well my blackbelt is pretty sweet to. But i searched yrs to find this trimac. I dont want to lose him and i would like him not to be all scared up. Let me no the best options. I just lost some giant frontosas a month ago that i had for 8 yrs. I want to keep this trimac longer. U guys no more than i do im sure of it thats y i like MFK. Everyone helps each other out.

How much salt r we talking about i got him in a 75 rite now. To small to go in the 180 or i like to keep them in smaller tanks till they get to wild anyway. Temp is 77

One of my heterospilus had a similar scrape to your trimac, I did 30% water changes every other day starting on a Friday and it was completely healed by Tuesday.
