I bought a trimac about a month ago at about 2.5" and he was in perfect health ate like a machine. The last week he hasnt touched a bite of food just sits on the bottom of the tank doing nothing. His colour is faded out and hes starting to waste away hes not breathing heavily and theres no white feces I can see just has zero interest in food any ideas? water paramaters are ph 7.2 amonia 0ppm nitrite 0ppm nitrate 5ppm temp is at 82

Bloat? how often do you clean the tank? How much do you feed him? Are there any other tank mates with him?
Twice weekly 20% water changes he lives with a bgk and a fenestratum both are healthy and active. I usually feed the bgk of a night nls and blood worms then 2 small feeds of nls for the cichlids during the day
maybe the fene is chasing him? stressing him out? how big is the tank? do you have hiding places? i would do 50% or more WC,once a week as a schedule.now you may want to quarantine him in a 10 gal. he could have internal parasite
