trimac or not???

Does the seller have the parents? Have you seen them? Is this a lfs or individual? The eyes look a little large how old is this 2" fish? I ask because that could be a sign of stunting.

cheers for the replys,it was labeled trimac in a lfs with about 10 more,all i know is that the lfs got them last week,the reason why i asked is because i know of the huge amount of hybrids being passed off as trimac
Yeah, it's getting quite ridiculous. These "Is it aTrimac" threads are becoming very frequent. It looks like it is becoming increasingly harder to get a bonafide Trimac nowadays. The best route would be to go through a reputable supplier. I guess even then you take a chance though. I hope you have what you paid for. Flowerhorn, LIke balton and Aquanero said its virtually impossible to get a real trimac from an LFS. And yes as a general rule if you have to ask if its a real trimac its a better bet that its not a real one.
If you want a real trimac order one from a reputable breeder such as Jeff Rapps or Ken Davis both who are well respected and have very nice stocks available a good amount of the time. My trimac is from Jeff Rapps and its absolutely a stunner.
