Hi :), I recently buyed a 400g tank (9'x2.5'x2.5') and I'm going to move all my old 210 fish to the new tank, this is the list of the 210:
1 Oscar (12")
1 Jaguar (7" male)
1 Midas/parrot hybrid (9" female and very agressive)
1 Texas(8" male)
2 JD (6-7" pair)
1 GT(7" male)
1 Salvini (6" female)

An I have a 6" male RD (not a hibryd, in a 75) and a 8" female trimac (not sure if its real, looks like a trimac not like a FH, and came from Mexico, she's in a 90gal)....And I want to read opinions about which of this 2 could be moved to the 400g....or if could be posible to move both of them to the 400 with the other fish........
Thanks a lot and sorry for my poor English :irked:

I think it would be okay, I mean, 400g is huge. But make sure the JD's aren't a male/female, because they can start breeding, and then...havoc. I think that you can move both the trimac and the red devil. I'm just concerned, there is a possibility of aggression, with so many big cichlids. Anyway, good luck.
Any pictures of your fish?

I agree and there is a good chance that you will end up with some hybrids.

I doubt JD's would tear apart the cichlids in a 9ft tank.

As for stocking, if it works in the 210, adding another 190 gallons + adding a RD and Trimac wouldnt hurt.

I say go for it put them all in the 400 and post lots of pics:grinno: the size of the tank and number of fish should spread out the aggresion nicely just put all the fish in at the same time to eliminate territory issues.

Add both w/400 gal plenty of space.
