Trimac spot question.

I was at my LFS today, and they had a "Trimac" that was about 7 or so inches, but it didn't have the "Flower" spot if you will. I couldn't find much about it. I was wondering if that is something new, or that ones just an oddball, and just for the record I do know it's unlikely to find a "real" Trimac. Just more of a curiosity question. I may pick it up it just because.

Trimac can have the 3 spots (tri mac) some have none, if not from a reputable person , good chance a mix unfortunately....

I know they're the "three spot cichlid", but can have more or less. I've just never seen a Trimac without the signature head spot or "flower".
