Trimac Update

So what size is she now, ie estimate. I am fairly sure I got mine from the same batch that you got... Mine are about 8 inches now. But yours are looking very nice. (I ended up pulling the black sand so that mine would color up more like yours.)
 
How long di it take to get to this size? i just got a 2.25" one from Rapps.Yours is very nice!

I think she is 7" right now.

Oh cool, have they started breeding already? My male is probably 6-7" right now, but is not as thick as her. Although these two show off to each other a lot, he can not hold his own against her - hence the divider. Hopefully, this will change in the coming months! I think substrate and temperature play a part in their colors, thanks for the comments.

She has grown very fast - I think I got her from Ken in April last year.
 
No breeding for mine yet... I got 4 at the moment, though one is a runt. (I need to move them to a larger tank, though I haven't sexed them though I am fairly certain I have at least 1 male and 1 female.) I will likely be posting a few shots of them in a short while. The only problem is most have managed to hurt themselves on rocks... Which wont be in the 240 they will be moved to.
 
Your trimac is beautiful, Id love one of those!

I still have not seen a juvi trimac for sale over here...at least at any of the shops I have been too. Not like I have the room in my tank anyhow.....
