thanks umbeeking , i haven't had a trimac pair in a while , but i know some get real dark velvety bars . her tube is already dropping quik so maybe she wont color up like that , she's has the same coloring today as she did yesterday . these fish are still baby's though , she's about 3 1/2 and he's about 4 1/2 so im still waiting to see how this spawn goes , ill keep you guys posted ....

Congrats, I miss my old Trimac pair. My female would turn solid black and look like a "Critter" with bright red eyes. Doubt many remeber those movies.
