I need the "trimming puffer beak" link.

How do you know when the teeth has grown too long ? Mine seem to bit the pebbles
... i hope it does help trim the teeth down.

well Two are ok. The third is already to the point it has to suck the food through the side of it's mouth. I've been throwing snails and shrimp in the tank to help out.... it's just time. SA Puffers have fast growing beeks.

Clove oil smells good. I feel good. Fish are good.

Perhaps you could try to create a small snail breeding tank, if you have a spare tank of course! That's what I did when my Fahaka was tiny, now I just provide shrimp in the shell, some occassional snails, and a crayfish (every now and then) for a treat.

Perhaps that will help with the teeth trimming.

Try adding a "feeding rock" to your S/A puffer tank. I use a flat piece of Granite about the size of a diner plate to pour the foods onto and the puffers wear their teeth down picking the foods off the granite, haven't had to trim their teeth in over 18 mths.
