Today I went to a local fish store near my work and came across some unusual finds for that particular shop. For those in the UK I visited maidenhead aquatics in Wembley and thought I would share some of my finds.
They had a decent sized leopard bush fish that look very uncomfortable without any cover. I was tempted to rescue him but he would not fit in with my south american set up in the slightest.

The Leopard Bush Fish was housed with a juvi Hydrocynus Vittatus. This was the first time I have seen one of these in the flesh and would love to have brought him but he is a bit out of my league! He seems to have a bit of fin damage and was very skittish. It didnt help that he was housed with other fish chasing each other!

There was also a huge red arowana for sale for a staggering £4995 but unfortunatly the fish was sitting on the bottom of the tank and clearly had bad gill curl.

There was also another very large aro. Not entirely certain on the species but was very nice.

Not your usual fish you find in a maidenhead aquatics
