Trip To San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara

For Spring Break me and Minnowmagnet went for a 5 1/2 day fishing trip down the southern California coast.

Besides seeing all the wonderful sites along the coast including Morrow Rock, Steep Cliffs, a Trout Farm, Dolphins, Otters, and thousands of Harbor Seals and Sea Lions we also did quite a bit of fishing and caught the following:

1x 20lb Batray
1x 21" Lingcod
1x 16" Kelp Greenling
1x 14" Opal eye
40+ Rockfish between 2" and 10"
2x Irish Lords both about 4"
5+ Bat Stars
1x 16" Sun Star
5+ Ochre Star
1x 8" perch
and last but certainly not least
250+ maybe even 300+ Pacific Makerel all between 6" and 17" and 1/2lb and 2lb

Where was the trout farm?

Did you get a chance to see the abalone farm too?

no I didnt see the abalone farms but the trout farm was close to Santa Barbara
