Does API triple sulfa kill beneficial bacteria? I just treated with it for two days and I'm wondering if I ruined my bacteria colony. Just did a water change so reading might not tell the story.

That's somewhat comforting. I read a few forum posts that said it did I guess I'll just have to wait and see. Having multiple tanks will make life easier in the future.
Triple sulfa will kill aerobic gram negative bacteria, ie Nitrosomonas & Nitrobacter which are the main strains of nitrofying bacteria. So, used as directed I do believe it will damage your bio-filter, I would love to have API explain how it won't.
I'm just going to have to monitor water params after treatment. A guy from our fish club kindly offered to swap sponges with me afterwards if I need to rebuild my BB. I didn't realize I posted this on the wrong sub forum sorry about that.
Just a follow up the triple sulfa didn't seem to kill my BB at all. A few days later and I'm still producing nitrate with no ammonia or nitrite.
