I use a 17ft center console for going out in the bay but was looking for something a little smaller to zip around the creeks. I have an Ocean Kayak the Scrambler XT model. My question is would it be feesible to mount a trolling motor on the yak? If so could I just mount it with some clamps and run it to a battery... Anyone have any exp with this?
