what is the desease that makes them itch them selfs on the rocks and substrate.. whats the cure... iv done a 30% W/C and added abit of salt.

they seem perfectly healthy apart from the rubbing they all eat fine aswell

They could be doing it for many reasons. I would check your water paramters (I know you did a WC but check anyways)- that can cause it also things like ich, velvet, lice, flukes... will cause itching... many parasites, skin irritation it could be a number of things. I would try to keep an eye out to see if you notice anything else with them. As for a cure... depends on what it actually is to the different ways you can treat it.

Crank the temp to 80, add salt and daily water changes.
But then again, tropheus normally rub, as do all fish.

thank you guys but my hybrid red zebra crosses are also duin it. ill budge the temp up now. is there a treatment that mite cure most of the named deseases from above ^^^

As Ash said, the first thing I would do is check the water parameters. I would also ask you, how big is your tank, when was it set up, and how often is this "rubbing" happening? I don't know much about trophs, but it looks like you mostly have malawies in there. I'm no expert, but I don't like to treat the whole thank with anything as it can mess up the whole bio/chemical thing going on in the tank. Good luck and let us know what happens.

theres actually 9 tropheus and 8 malawis (7 hybrid malawis)
nitrIte - 0.25
ammonia - 0.00
nitrAte - 10
PH - 6.5

i know they prefer higher PH but aslong as its a consistant ph its ok

okii i think the nitrAtes have tu be the main cause....

I'd bump up that pH to at least 7.8-8.0 by either crushed coral substrate and/or additives.
You're gonna lose the tropheus if kept at pH of 6.5
