A quick note - we'll post some showfish photos later today or tomorrow!
We won 1st & 2nd this year in the Pike class, Scott Arney won 3rd with a beautiful female Johanna. Our Cincta looked great on Thursday & Saturday but was pale Friday and didn't show well during the judging that evening. Someone had a primo Scotti, and there was a nice belly crawler, I think 12 entries total. Rick Perez brought an unusual sp. lugubris that was looked evilly sick! A good turn out - better than usual!
My wife took home 16 trophies including the new "Show Pro" catagory for most points, sorta the Grand Champion! So we were happy driving back the nearly 1100 miles, arriving home 3:30 a.m. Mtn. time. Our thanks to Ted Judy, Jeff Michels and all the club members who worked hard to put on a smooth convention. My only complaint was that the showroom lighting was sub-standard, making it hard to see the true beauty of all the magnificent cichlids.

I just checked, no pike pics on my camera, I will see about getting them.
