Tropical Fish & Turtles

I don't know if this should go here but..

I was wondering what kind of tropical fish(78F) would be suitable with a turtle(if they don't get eaten..)
I wanted to get something like a Cory or a Pleco, but can they swim away from Turtles?(especially those ones always on glass or wood)

I was interested in getting this 8" Pleco(bigger than turtle), but I heard that Plecos will sometimes stick on a turtle's shell..Is this harmfull to the turtle?(he does have some algae growing) And I also heard about some Pleco that was sucking on a turtle's head and ate the eyeballs out..is this possible?

Do you think fast fish are better than the slower ones? Like the ID sharks?

Aquatic turtles are piscavores and will feed on or try to feed on fish. Plecos can cause serious damage to turtles, too. And, with few exceptions, turtles will require basking areas and special lighting. Turtles also produce bioloads that can be detrimental to fish in small spaces (ie: aquariums). Over-filtration will be vital.

If in a big tank, what size fish would be safe from a 6" turtle?

What kind of damage have you heard about turtles with plecos oddball?

yeah i'm not gonna do it..just wanted to know what a pleco can do to a turtle...

I was dumb enough to try. a 240 gallon tank 3 sliders, 1 pacu, and a few other cichlids. every one got along until the fish became week due to the high amount of turtle poopy that I wasn't clearing fast enough. they turtles eventually ate them while they were weak. those the turtle never bothered were taken by the water quality. Just too much waste!

I'm starting to think one of the crappies died from turtle poopy then..I thought it was from starvation.

wait how big are your turtles and your pacu?
what kind of filter do you run on it?

I have a slider turtle in my 75g only because he is only about 2" wide.

and opiate I'm planning to get a fly river turtle once I move back to Japan.
But they get huge! are they gonna co-exist with fish when they're 20"?

I've seen eople in Japan keep them with arowanas, bichirs, and big catfish.
