Tropical pond?

Oscars are very good pond inhabitants. They tend to roll on their sides to see you, and come up for food like koi. I'd also recommend Acanthicus Adonis for a striking outline. They're war machines who will eat from your hand and hold their own in an aggressive tank/pond. Depends on the gallonage of the pond though. Plan at least 400 gallons for the Adonis.

Ya know, I've been thinking about doing and indoor tropical pond for a while, I just havn't had the money, time or space to do it... maybe someday. I wanted to put a glass insert or some kind of port window in it though so you can get both the above look and profile. Stocking I was thinking about doing some schooling fish, maybe silver dollars and then basing my larger fish on what couldn't eat them. South american theme and I wanted to do some hanging plants over it. I've seen ponds with arowanas, aropaima's, RTCs and other large SA species.
