Tropicals with goldfish

Is it a bad idea to keep them together in a outdoor pond?

depend on the tropical fish

i think most tropical fish can be kept with goldfish, most only need water in the 75-80 range which is a warm summer pond to a goldfish.

however, fish like pbass & rays i wouldnt do since they prefer higher temps than you average tropical fish.

i kept my pond golfish with my cichlids till the cichlids started to get bigger

also kept them with angels
