Hi everyone this is my first time here so please bare with me
here's my issue:
i have a beautiful pair of gold pearlscale angels
there first spawn gave me very few fry actually only 17 made it
now here the trouble comes,my second spawn came they did there thing
when i woke up in the morn the spawn had all died pure white eggs
third spawn same thing,any ideas?
thanks

if they die the next morning, then they are not fanning the eggs (giving them oxygen to survive and develop). either they need to start fanning for the eggs to survive, or you need to put an airstone by the eggs to keep them alive. or if you want you can either move the parents, or take the eggs out and move them into a different tank, or a divider could work as well (depending if they are layed on something removable, like a leaf or something, then) but either way, use an airstone on the eggs to keep them alive. this is to ensure that neither the parents nor other tank mates will eat the eggs or fry once they hatch. if the parents are not fanning them and let them die, they probably wont take care of them if they are hatched in the same tank.

yea, if you have time, definitely just sit and watch them for a while after they layed the eggs, see if they protect them, and fan them. if they dont fan them at all, thats a problem, or if they dont fan them enough. they might even just give up on fanning after a while, but just keep a close eye on them once they lay the eggs.

the problem im having with mine, is that the pair i have now is a new pair, they dont do enough fanning, but most of the eggs still survive, but by about a day before they hatch into fry, they eat them... they've only spawned twice so far, so i need to move them. my only problem is that they layed the eggs on the heater of my community tank, lol, so best option would be for me to move the heater =/ ... cuz im not gonna sit there trying to catch all my fish to move them lol.

Have you considered getting a slate for them to lay the eggs on? it should make removing them for personal handling much easier.

yea, but the problem is getting them to lay the eggs on the slate rather than anything else in a planted 75g tank.
