My smaller indo isn't looking so hot.
He has always been the runt of the pack. However, he's usually pretty feisty, eats well, just doesn't seem to go crazy after pellets like the rest of them. His diet is mostly made up of tilapia and shrimp.
He's about 8" inches now so I was being stubborn and only feeding the tank pellets trying to get him to accept them more willingly.
After a couple of days, I noticed him sitting on the bottom, not really swimming, just resting.
I keep up with my water changes and haven't noticed any other fish acting strange, but still, the tank is full of predators with large appetites so I know my nitrates are a bit high, around 40ppm or so.
The next day he was doing the same thing so I took him out of the tank and put him in quarantine. Raised the temp to around 82-84 degrees and added salt. He eats just fine...gets really excited when I come to the tank...however, when I'm not around, he just sinks back to the bottom and some times even leans against the side of the tank.
Any advice?
