I bought a python syphon and cant get it to connect to our kitchen sink. The threading on the kitchen is male and so is the adapter that the python came with. The python adapter also appears to be a bit too large for the sink. Do i need an adapter of some sort?

There is a brass adapter made for this.
Look at ur lfs where they have the pythons, and they should have the adapters there too...
The brass 1 is the 1 u want.

the adaptor should be 3 pieces
1 for hose 1 that screws inside faucet and 1 that screws on the outside of faucet
take the first one off and it should fit
if not
lowes sells an adaptor that has all 3 in 1 that may work
post a pic of what you have that may help us help you
:)

yes any hardware store sales adapters and there probably cheaper then in a lfs by far i build my own using a piece pf pvc and a garden hose with a waterbed drain fill kit.

yeah take your sinks aerator and the python piece to the local hardware and buy the adapter there.

X2 the white piece has a piece screwed in it to allow it to hook up to a female faucet. Unscrew that and it will fit on the male end of your faucet.
