hey guys, i think my silver aro is picking on my marble. i just saw a rip on his tail a while ago. (it could also be the IT, Lapardei or my 2 knives)

anyway, he wouldn't eat. could that be stress related? coz he haven't eaten anything for the last 2 days.

I'm thinking of putting him in my other tank with 2 Giant gouramis, a TSN and a giant snake head. but those guys are only 2" on average. he's about 6" or so... i'm afraid he might wipe them out.

He'll wipe them out.

As for the culprit, I would first and foremost think of the knives. What breed are they?

yeah they could also be... a royal and a common clown..
but they're more docile than the aro... the aro is the king of the tank imo.

i tired putting a silver dollar there a few months ago. it was cool with the knives but the aro took a shot at it as soon as i went away.

when i returned, i saw him chasing after the wounded fish.

You mean you saw the aro chasing the cat? Not usual for aro's to chase bottom dwellers...

I'd still put my money on the knives ( and what a pair of knives you got ), though...

Anywhere else you can put that cat into? No sump? It needs a helping hand in starting to mend....
