trout fishing

ive never fished for trout in the US or anywhere for that matter. Im mostly a bass guy. but now im in Lima peru and im going fishing any tackle Ideas? im likely going to have a spinning rod. thanks

Light line with probably bait or spinners. Or if you have bubble bobbers you can use flies

I always used corn or marsh mellows. I guess it resembles fish eggs.

im agreeing with them but trust me i catch big trout like 10+ lbs at my spot in MI where i live and its a hoot getting in a lake trout..but i use spoons and go trolling so..be lucky out there and careful of the enviroment..if your in lima..

I don't think he's talking about lake trout... Probably little rainbows/browns.

deffinetly throw the tinnest shinniest spinner you can get your hands on when theres a little over cast sky and cast near boulders/eddies and other cover and its imposible not to get some bows

Also when using spinners twitch the spinner and let it die every once in a while they love it. I have had rainbows destroy spinners on the second time when i twitch it will on the first i didnt.
