Heading up to North Oklahoma in a few weeks to try my hand at some trout fishing. Never done it before..any advice on area, tackle, rigging, etc

There is a jig called stingers....come in all diff shapes and sizes. These are my favourite. Some small spinners like panther martins always work well too. If your using live bait use small hooks...like 10 or 12. Crickets and worms work well and so does power bait.
