Anyone had try trout heart, the guy told me that was great...

that was the first time I heard....

Thanks for the infos

:p I had the muscles behind the eyeballs before. Really tasty... just not very big. :(

Haven't tried the eyeballs yet though... nor do I plan to, even though they supposedly taste like M&M's.

Now as a feeder item... well fish would eat anything meaty right? Some people feed beef heart anyway.

Sorry... After reading it sound like I was eating trout heart... but I was asking for my fish... a LFS sold trout heart and he told me that it contain less fat and higher in protein than beef heart...

Trout heart for fish seems like an expensive gimmick.

If you have never been tuna fishing, you should go. First timers are supposed to eat the heart. I thought it was more of a pacific islander thing, but lots of others do it too.

20$ for 32 ounces (4 x 8 ounces) ... the same shop sells beefheart 8$ for 8 ounces...
The trout heart are complet they are not cut in pieces or blended...

I think I will try it...
