Trout season opens in PA in one week-YES

Who else here goes trout fishing? I am patiently (not!) waiting for the season to open in Pennsylvania. It opens in the southern counties on Apr. 4. Going tomorrow to scout out a spot for openning day.

Going in Schuylkill County- up by Tamaqua. I live in Hazleton and it is only a 20 min. drive to where I am planning to fish. Have the choice of the pond or the Little Schuylkill River (alot cleaner than the main Schuylkill River). We have 2 openning days in Pennsylvania- one for southern counties and one for the northern (for those who don't live here).

Want to learn to fly-fish but I fish tight streams- little tricky. I will someday when I have time and money for the flyrod.

I will be out there, scouted all winter, I got a few hike in holes in mountian creek, and Maybe a trip up north to nescopeck creek.

Not from down there...not even USA ahaha (Canada) But I can't wait till the seaons opens up. Though I gotta wait till April. 15th
