True Albino Red Eye Giant Gouramy Info Please

I got this 4" last week and mesmerized by it's albino'ism. Eyes pink/red and powder white. I've seen many white giant gouramy (20 plus) in my day and all are black eyes as if they are not true albino.

Is it common, uncommon, or rare? Can anyone here chime in on this as not much info is on this gouramy topic? Wasn't able to find adult specimen with Albino traits either. Anybody have one semi/full grown of an red eye albino? Thanks all!

I had a gray one before that grew up to 13". This one caught my attention and would be cool if I can forecast what an adult red eye would look like and temperament.

To add, this one is more of a white sheen than the traditional white GG I've seen. I've seen the black eye white/golden variant in juveniles and adults in person many times. As stated above, never an albino version.

Anybody seen or know someone with a large true albino GG? I can locate old threads in here with sizes under 7" but have not seen a full grown. Any links or pics would be awesome.

The white, orange, and yellow GG with black eyes are just a color variant of the Osphronemus Goramy. From what I have read their temperament as they get older can be mild just like the other GGs. Keep in mind there is always the exception.

Awesome! I did a search and found mostly younger or black eye variant. But this is cool to see what mine will look like laters. I had a 13-14" gray gouramy before so, I am familiar with potential temperament. Gray was a "datnoid hater", lol!
