Has anyone heard of true aquar or aquatop hang on filters? Are they good?

Yeah they are a distributor for aquatop products, alot of people buy from them, my buddy runs their canister filters and seems to like them, so I am sure the HOBs are decent. I want to try one of their digital heaters, those look cool.

I like their CF series canisters but have no idea how their other stuff is. I noticed they have HOBs with built in UVs, thought that was really interesting.

I saw that to but the biggest one I believe is like. 3 watt uv in the HOBs

This strikes me as one of those things that might be great on paper but practically fraught with problems. Like that eheim can with the built in heater or whatever.
Yeah my buddy ordered one of the CF filters and it didn't have the UV so that's a problem haha I thought about buying a uv sertalizer from them and putting it on a power head, even though I don't have green algea might still help water quality

I have both the CF canister filter with UV and the HOB with UV from them. They are all working well and are very quiet. I'm actually thinking of getting a couple more of the CF canister filters for my new tanks
