Is there anyone out there in Fish land wanting to sell an armatus? The bigger the better, but not trying to take out a second mortgage for one.

If you say,the bigger the better, then you are flirting with a second mortgage lol.Where were you when vendors on here had armatus babies for sale?

Actually I am in Iraq currently headed to Japan, but I have been trying to get the smaller ones but it looks like I am always to late. Plus now I had the wife actually set up a tank 55gal for a small one so mybe by the time I get back in Dec he'd be big enough to go in the 300 gal. Who has them? I have called Pedro, but no response as of yet.

Okay, well does anyone have a better way to contact pedro from aquascape?

Try john...screen name jlnguyen... He had 3 over a foot for sale.

Infinate Aquatics has some 4"+ ones..

LOL ^^ Beat me to it.

Big one doesn't stay put during shipping :grinno: He will tear the bags. Go with Rich on the smaller one, and grow it out :naughty:

Is this the same guy as infinite aquatics, just curious, add says only 2-3 inches. But 4 plus would be great. Are the fish pretty hardy when small? Unlike some fish at the 2-3 inch size that are kind of fragile (black arrowana for instance).

Search..... plenty of info in the "Other Fish" section including a care guide for Payara that is still in the works but the info is there. I wouldn't hesitate...Once Rich's (Infinite Aquatics) are gone you probobly won't see them again for another year. They are a lot more hardy now then when he first brought them in at like an inch..........
