True Bleheri colour???

Hey all, this thread really needs some pics, but my bleheri will not play ball so you will have to do with my description...until you guys post some....!!

I bought my Ch. Bleheri around 12 weeks ago....he was a dark purple colour in the LFS, but I thought that was the proper colour for a Ch. Bleheri as I had never seen one before. He is still really dark purple in colour, so dark you can not see any pattern.

Now I have found a whole bunch at another store labelled as Bleheri.....completly different colour.....much lighter with really distinct patterning. Have I been sold a different species of snakehead....!!??

Any pics of your Bleheris for comparison would be appreciated.....as soon as I can get one of Gordon I will!

you may have gachua? i have seen them marked up as bleheri ? post some pics

this is Heiko Bleher (C. bleheri discoverer...) and I just posted some text on the fish which has my name elsewhere, have a look. There is also the correct picture, so you should have no problem to identify which one you have.
