Anyone else watch this yet? Its really awesome IMO and its probably the best acting I've seen harrelson do. Its really creepy and the end of the latest episode ended w/ a real "monster". The premise is a possibly satanic murder happens in a sleepy Midwest area, and the 2 detective who investigated uncover some really messed up stuff. They're being interviewed in the future telling the story to another pair of detectives because there has been an identical murder that happened in the present

Cannot wait to see how this goes

Before the show started,I was a little stoked about it given the two main actors but the show is a little boring and I am losing patience with it.

If it wasn't for the "monster" at the end of episode 3 (if you haven't seen it, watch it) I would probably be losing interest too. The Occult has always fascinated me though (like HP Lovecraft and the like) so that may be why I like it so much. The initial murder also piqued my interest because of how satanic it looked. I also like it because Hart (Matt M.) Is honestly like myself and how I've began to think about the world. Didnt realize that until i was watching this w/ my buddy he was the one who was like "dude, you've said the same things to me"

Watched episode three last night and never saw any monster since I closed my eyes at one point and by the time I opened them again the show was over.
 
Bahaha, its a meth head tweaker wearing nothing but his under wear and a gas mask walking through the woods w/ a machete, the camera angle is kind of like what you would see if you were hiding from him. They also talk about a really intense gunfight coming soon, probably w/ the monster and his tweaker buddies

I also enjoy how they portray the tweakers, as evil meth/acid freaks that do satanic occultist stuff. Tweakers go insane, thats a real thing. Some of them literally think they are god, like that episode of intervention w/ that blonde girl who would sit there and scribble nonsense about how she was god in some notebook

Same same same...

Love the actors, like the possibilities of the storyline, but damm its slow! Hope the next episode delivers everything that it hints about.
 
If it doesnt ill be soo disapointed in HBO, they havent really failed in quite some time.. at least not w/ GoT

Episode 3: They hint to the gun battle and the tweeker-monster

Think its the same?
 
Oh for sure, thats what I figured too. By the way theyre making it sound it seems like its gonna be a really really nuckin futs time, cant wait for 4
