True/false hystrix?

I have been looking around for some time now, but i cant figure...
Is this a true Hystrix?

Also i cant find any explanations on why some are called "true" - and others "false"..?

Yes that is a true hystrix. If you found one labeled false then it is probably a humerosa type that they are selling with the hystrix name.

It is what is refered to as 'hystrix' but 'true hystrix' come from argentina and is seldom seen. that little fellow came from brazil

You say fully grown - how big does hystrix actually get? Just wondering couse i am soon building a new tank. And not shure if i am going for a 290, or 380 gallon...

A update on the histrix.

The ray have now grown from 17 and 18 cm, to 22 and 24 cm. Nice and healthy Still looking for a partner...
