Picked this dude up earlier today, just wanted to get everyones thoughts on this dude being a legit Festae. He was labeled as one, but of course as we all know some places will label fish as anything to make a sale.

Thanks!

Awesome!!!!

Yeah this dude isn't even an inch yet. Probably like half an inch in size, he's super small, but hangs with the big boys (well "big boys" compared to him) with no problems! Have him in the tank with 3 severums (red, gold, and green) and a mystery vieja (I have no idea which strain he is exactly, someone just brought a bunch of fry into a LFS down the street from my place). I have some other guys too, but nobody else that would pose any sort of threat to him at all. Biggest guy in my tank is my red severum and he's about 3-3.5 inches in size. Everyone gets along great and they all swim in a huge pack which is really cool.

I'm really excited to watch this guy change as he gets older. Always wanted to pick up a festae, but could never find one until today. I picked up my vieja when he was about the same size and he's now about 2.5-3 inches in size and seeing him grow and start to show color has been super awesome! I'm sure as he gets older I'll need to move him into his own tank if he ends up being a crazy dude, but for now everything is smooth sailing. I'm hoping that because he's the smallest in an established tank he wont get too out of hand. I was super afraid that my vieja would have gone to the dark side after removing my previous aggressive fish, but after taking over the tank he's been the most chill fish I've ever had, along with my severums. Fingers crossed everything stays this way! (but definitely aware that it could turn the other direction, real fast haha)

Thanks for the confirmation guys! Much appreciated!
