True Jack Dempsey?

I took a leap of faith and bought this guy from petsmart...althugh I regret this now because they are such idiots there...anyways, is this a jack dempsey like they said it is?

jacks look all colorful when u see them at the store but when you bring him home he will loose a lil color until he gets used to the surroundings an he will brightin up.

mine always look 10x better when i bring them home from the pet store, they look washed out or faded, about 30-45 min after i bring them home they get vibrant and/or darker
