True love with oscar?

Anybody ever hear of bass and oscars breeding? Just picked up a 12" oscar to house with my p/bass. I was afraid of too much aggression but I got just the opposite, They're acting like they're in love. I thought my bass was a male because of his size(14") , now I'm not so sure. Any thoughts?

Just because he's 14" doesn't mean he's a male. I wouldn't think they'd actually breed, but they might try?

lol that oscar doesnt look to happy .. i dont know about pairing up but it might be more of a love/hate, or pimp/hoe situation if you know what im saying... the orino in my hospital tank, hangs around my pike cichlid.. im trying to bulk both fish up so i can put them in my bigger tank. the pike is starting to gain size over the peacock which im shocked about

i dont think it is possible for them to breed but they should be fine together.. you might want to add a few more fish
