I have wanted these since I 1st saw this breeder post pix of his fish.
Finally I succumb to buying them and ordered a Breeding pair on Saturday Last Week.
Paid for them on Monday Afternoon and they arrived from Thialand This Afternoon.
Almost 4 Days in Transit and all very healthy.

A Size Comparison to Normal Fighters. They are all in the Same Cubes for Comparison Purposes Only.

I paid a pretty penny 130quid for all 3 of them,

DP Fishways and Me don't get on - won't ***** about what i think Of Him and his policies and what he thinks he knows about fighters on here.

sorry to go of topic but south coast nelly what shops are there in the bournemouth area that are good for catfish and cichlids as im only in swanage but dont know all the shops in the area
thanks steve

they have settled in nicely and have all started making bubble nests during the night.
What i thought was a red/green Giant has become a Gorgeous Purple Copper Giant.
Can't wait to get them conditioned.

cool
i recall during the last fish auction at the local club i go to (COAST), that someone was selling a trio. i don't think the colors looked as nice, but these bettas were around the 3.5" TL mark, which i think classifies them as giants. in any case, they went for a measly $20 odd... didn't realize they were worth so much

back to the topic at hand - any reason why there's so little water in those jars?

Thanks, They are over 4 inches each - so classifieds as true giants.

That was the water they arrived in. Very brown from the tannins. I acclimated them very slowly by using a turkey baster to add water slowly to the jars every 10 mins. Didn't want to risk losing them, as my water has a high PH and is VERy Very hard.
