Can a copper banded butterfly really control aptasia growth?

yes it can. but its still a hit and miss some of the time.

peppermint shrimp too.........but like mention'd......all hit or miss!

Try joe's juice....inject with syringe into aptasia.

Peppermints and cleaners will sometimes take care of it. Copper banded butterfly sometimes isn't reef safe though. Worst case scenario, use an Anti-Aiptasia med and inject it into the stem, or use high calcium + low pH hot water mix and inject it. 100% anihiliation guaranteed. Well... theres also the boiling the whole rock if you don't mind having the revive your rock
