True Parrot Cichlid

Hi all, im new here. (no idea how to enter down on here! anyway...) I have a 10inch true parrot and its an awful bully. The fish shop wouldn't take it back and no one wants to buy it. We have LFS that is interested but has no room at the mo. Does anyone else have them? Any advice? Its in a 720l tank which is about 5.5ft long and quite deep and tall (its a custom tank). It lives with 2 Oscars, mounth brooder sev, 6 filament barbs, pimelodious blochi, L001 plec and syno. So not that many tank mates. It bullys everything and trys to pen them into one corner. I already re-arranged the tank as per suggestion of LFS it was bought from.

I rehomed my 10" female because she bullied and bothered all the other fish in my 125. They are beautiful but can stress out other tank occupants.

I have one but it is only 3 inches at the moment. He does get a little rough on my Geos sometimes. They are really cool fish though.

ive never known such a persistent fish. paid quite a bit of money for it...so really don't want to give it away....but there again I don't think anyone would even want it for free.

Have you tried advertising it on aquatics classified ? I'm sure someone will buy it its a nice looking fish just needs tankmates who tolerate it

I had the same issue with my true parrot, he hit a certain size then just did not want to share the tank with anyone.

Is the true parrot a bully because of most of them being wild caught or F1?

ive advertised on aquatics classified and facebook sale pages. Regretably I don't know the history of the parrot
