true red terror cichlids

on wednesday i went to the lfs store and was talking with the other about getting a female red terror i want one so bad . He said he will see what he can do and said that he had some juvies true red terrors and he showed them to me , they were mixed with oscars. After that, well just say I got a six juvies each about an inch or so big in my 30 gal in my room for now , then i am going to put then in a 40 breeder for a little while until the spring when i get my 125 gal from va or get a tank bigger then 125. Once they get big enough and pair off hopefully i will have more then one female out of the six. i will keep a pair and a female if i have another one out of the six and trade or sell the rest . I am so excited wish me luck :D

Red terrors are very nice fish, I have 4x F1's and they are cool:headbang2
they was all the same size when I first got them now my biggest is about 4 inches

they have been in with the tiger barbs for around 3months, there was 30 now there is 14, they was all in a 29G {22x16x20} in this tank was where all the barbs was killed, now they are in a 50G {40x16x20} they seem to have chilled-out a bit.
 
Dates on the pics are correct, so with out getting out the calendar... around 4months give or take, that was from about 1/2 - 3/4 of an inch to his now 4inches. ;)

also the little Red Terror in the pic with him in the bottom pic was the same size as him, when i got then all 4 they was all the same size, but groth with my Jags was the same, some of my Jags are 7inches and breeding, some are still 2inches, they are from the same spawn.
 
how much did you pay ?
i would post a pic of them if they were cheap theres a good chance there mayan/uro cichlids a good fish but its colors don't come close to that of a true red terror ( mayan still have very nice colors just not as vibrant)

man i would love a red terror too for me bad there more aggressive then they are colorful
 
i know the difference between the false red terror and the true red terror and i have a false one and they do not look that much a like to me , but i payed 5 dollars a piece for them and they look just like bolty in his first pic
