is it true that when arowana's get bigger they start to eat less?
well mine is about 14" now and he doesn't want to eat....its been 3 days

did you try and vary its diet?

crickets? meal worms? pellets? feeders? black worms? beef heart?

try some garlic xtreme!

he's in a 155 gallon tank.
maybe he is still full from previous meal...i fed him quiet a bit

thanks for the help guys
i fed him shrimp again and he ate it =)
guess he's tired of smelters

variety is the key to keep the appetite of your aro, and once in awhile skip meals because in the wild they don't eat that often

i hate doing variety though...i dont like driving to petsmart and stuff to buy crickets and stuff...if only it was next door :headbang2

i agree, vary the diet. aros usually have appetites that match their current sizes
