How come Truvu website's measurements and stated gallons are out of wack? For example, it's 125g is 60x18x24, which actually is 112 gallons.

a)no one really counts glass thickness so glass thikness is included.
b) most companies round off so say its actually 123.575 including glass theyll round off to 125

I have not heard of a single tank company that accurately lists their tanks. They all round up to something that sounds good. It is all about sales and by doing this, they have a leg up on the competition. After the first company did it, they all had to follow suit.
I have a tank that is frequently marketed as a 120 and 125. I have also seen it as a 110. By measuring the inside, it is just under 100 gallons

Oh, I bought a used "40g" hex tank a while back. I measured it and did the math...26 gallons. I later found the same tank in a fish store being sold as 36 gallons.
