ive wanted to have this fish tank in my bros room and wanted to stock it with peacocks how many would be fine and not to be over crowded. also ideas and opinions would be helpful.

First, I'm pretty sure peacock cichlids are Malawi.
For the most part, they grow to around 4-5 inches, so a very good fish for a 55. Fill the tank with caves, rocks and other territory so that they can establish a pecking order.
I'm no expert on African fish, but i'd say 6-8 peacocks could go in there.

Ive been luking at the Yellow Regal which is real stunner in the tank,the German Red Peacock,the Eureka Peacock,Blue Neon Peacock,Lemon Jake Peacock, and the Flame Tail Peacock. Those are the types that i am really interested in stocking up my fish tank with.
