trying to cycle my 40g

Are my levels good enough for me to add 10 small feeders to my 40 gallon
Also ive heard better aeration and hotter water helps cycle, is this true?

Ammonia : .25
Nitrite : .25
Nitrate : 5.0

nope your tank is not done cycle .when the tank done you should have ammonia 0ppm nitrite 0ppm nitrate should be higher than that...

Oscars and bichir produce alot of waste. How many weeks has it been.
Anyone know of any methods to speed up the cycling process?

What's your ammonia source? Adding the feeders might speed it up, depending on how you feel philosophically about adding live fish to ammonia-containing water.

Are you really planning to put all those fish in a 40 gal.?
